Who We Support
- Junior League of Palo Alto•Mid Peninsula: For more than 50 years, the Junior League of Palo Alto•Mid Peninsula has been serving the needs of our community through the outstanding leadership and effective action of our trained volunteers. The League focuses on improving the wellbeing through programs and partnerships that address the impacts of systemic poverty on the physical and mental health of individuals and families, including the lack of sufficient housing, food, and provisions.
- Women for Women International: From war-torn towns to the halls of the United Nations, their global community invests in women survivors of war and conflict, connecting them with each other, resources, and support to realize their own power. For over 25 years, Women for Women International has used an integrated approach to invest in women’s power.
- UNHCR The UN Refugee Agency: The primary purpose at UNHCR is to safeguard the rights and well-being of people who have been forced to flee. Together with partners and communities, we work to ensure that everybody has the right to seek asylum and find safe refuge in another country. We also strive to secure lasting solutions. For over half a century, UNHCR has helped millions of people to restart their lives.
